Mohamed Abdel Maksoud

About Me

I’m a Doctoral Researcher in the D²IP Group at BIFOLD, TU Berlin, working under Prof. Dr. Ziawasch Abedjan since April 2025. My research focuses on data quality, data cleaning, and anomaly detection in large-scale systems.

I hold a Master’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Stuttgart, where I worked on robust anomaly detection in time series using adaptive model selection (published as RAMSeS at ICDE 2026). My work spans machine learning, NLP, and data engineering — from scalable dashboard development and user profiling to production-level ML pipelines.

• 2026 — Selected for the Software Campus IT leadership programme (2026 cohort), leading a research project on data quality in data pipelines with Snowflake as industry partner.
